Big Stars & Pink Guitars

It’s no secret that Oh My Cupcakes! Is proud to support a wide variety of events, non-profits, and fundraisers in our community, like our Make-a-Wish Magical Wish Maker Cupcakes or our annual Easter Egg Drop. Giving generously for the benefit of our community is a core part of our Cupcake Manifesto.

We even won the South Dakota Retailers Association’s Community Service Award earlier this year.

In April, Oh My Cupcakes! had the honor of serving desserts at the Sanford Health Foundation’s annual Big Stars & Pink Guitars auction.

The annual event has raised more than $2.5 million since its inception in 2018 by auctioning off Pink Firefly Guitars signed by a variety of musical acts who performed at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and other area venues.

This year’s event raised more than $1,000,000 to support cutting-edge research and 3D mammography equipment for patients, survivors, and their families at the Edith Sanford Breast Center.

Of course the stars of the show were the guitars, but we think our burn away cupcakes put on a pretty good show of their own.
