Oh My Cupcakes! Founder Selected To Speak For World’s Most Prestigious Baking Expo

Oh My Cupcakes! Founder Melissa Johnson will be among the world’s leading bakers speaking at the 2022 International Baking Industry Expo (IBIE) in Las Vegas, Nev. next month.

Johnson’s presentation is titled “The Art of Storytelling: Grow Your Audience, Build Your Brand”. She will take the stage on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Past Speakers include Buddy Valastro of TLC’s “Cake Boss” show and Duff Goldman of Food Network.

IBIE brings together more than 23,000 professionals from across the entire grain-based foods industry and from all over the world. The event is hosted every three years by the American Bakers Association, Retail Bakers of America, and BEMA.

Johnson opened Oh My Cupcakes! in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2009 and now operates two locations in the city as well as a bustling ecommerce store and pop up shop. Oh My Cupcakes! is also the retail home to Sweet Cream Candle Company.
